Commercial vehicles are the backbone of the UK economy – but when they’re involved in an accident, what really happens next?

From first impact to return-to-road, the repair journey is complex, fragmented and often invisible to the end user. The question we need to ask as an industry is simple:

Are we absolutely confident every commercial vehicle is being repaired to the right standard?

At this year’s ARC-360, the Special Commercial Vehicle Breakout Session will focus on standards, technology, and accountability across the sector.

Hosted by Head of VBRA, Tom Hudd, the outstanding panel will include:

  • Jason Mole – Managing Director, Commercial Vehicle Division, Steer Group
  • Matt Henson – Managing Director, Square 4 Limited
  • Steve Oakley – Technical Manager, Scania UK

Matt Henson will replace Tom Pearson on the Showcase Stage.

Topics explored will include:

  • The role of the VBRA and what industry standards really mean in practice
  • The purpose and impact of the Elite Truck & Van Standard
  • How rapidly advancing vehicle technology is reshaping repair capability
  • And most importantly—what happens to commercial vehicles after a collision, and how we ensure they are safely and correctly returned to the road

With perspectives from OEM, repair, body building, and technical engineering, this session will challenge how we think about compliance, consistency and risk across the entire repair ecosystem.

If you work in insurance, repair, body building, or supply chain, this conversation is for you.

Because every commercial vehicle back on the road carries a question we should all be able to answer with confidence: Was it repaired right?

Looking forward to seeing many of you at ARC-360 – tickets can be purchased here
