First International VBRA Meeting
On 23rd October 2025, the VBRA Commercial Committee gathered at David Philp Commercial in Edinburgh for its final meeting of the year – marking a notable milestone as the Association’s first international VBRA meeting.
The VBRA extends its sincere thanks to David Philp, and his family, for their warm hospitality and for hosting the committee at their impressive facility. Following a recent extensive refurbishment, including a brand-new building extension, the site now offers an exceptional environment that reflects the highest standards in the sector.

David Philp Commercial is recognised as one of the largest and most capable commercial vehicle repairers in the UK. The business is an approved partner for Montracon Limited, Schmitz Cargobull AG, and SDC Trailers Ltd, as well as a service agent for Renault Trucks UK.
The VBRA also thanks its Commercial Committee members for making the journey to Scotland. The visit highlighted not only the strength of collaboration within the Association but also showcased a truly first-class CV bodyshop and service centre, an outstanding credit to both the commercial vehicle sector and the VBRA community.
